Everyone is welcome! Volunteers support an important cause and are the backbone of the hatchery operation.
We suggest making arrangements with an existing member when you come to join us for the first time. The gate is locked, and it is a long walk from the gate to the facilities.
The morning meeting starts at 8:30 AM where we find out what needs to be done that day. We suggest you bring work gloves and appropriate clothing for the day, gumboots make a fashion statement! Volunteers can be at work from 2 to 4 hours depending on the time of year.
Volunteering at the hatchery gives you a chance to test out possible career choices, and you’ll gain work experience.
It’s a great way to make new friends and contacts. Best of all, you’ll be part of a team! We have FUN!

Become a member and become part of an exclusive team. Members are a fundamental component of the enhancement society and your membership is a great way to support the facilities. You will receive yearly reports and have access and input to the operation. Membership fees are $20/year for individuals, $30/year for families, or $200/year for a corporate group, AND, upon request, you will get an official tax receipt!!
